My name is Christopher Fix and I am the Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific， for CME Group。

This is the 6th year that CME Group has supported the Futures Daily Overseas Derivatives Trading Competition， and I am looking forward to be in the wonderful city of Dalian for the Awards Ceremony on the 9th of November。

This years competition which ran from March to September 2019， attracted about 1900 Chinese domestic traders， a ten-fold increase since the inaugural competition in 2014， and up about 150% over last year。

CME Groups commitment to Asia has seen us increase our level of engagement with China in the past few years， and this has also resulted in greater awareness of the derivatives markets， and the need for derivatives trading。

Awareness of derivatives trading and the need for hedging has increased over the years， not only through our education efforts in China， but also with China now going through a sustained phase of internationalisation and globalisation， and its rise as a global economic powerhouse。

For us at CME Group， we will continue to promote investor education and drive awareness of derivatives trading amongst Chinese traders。

Our sponsorship of the Futures Daily Overseas Derivatives Trading Competition has been a great success in creating greater awareness of derivatives trading amongst Chinese traders。

今年是芝商所赞助《期货日报》全球衍生品实盘交易大赛第6年，我非常期待即将在11月9日在美丽的大连举行的颁奖典礼。

今年的全球衍生品实盘交易大赛从2019年3月持续到9月，吸引了大约1900名参与者，参赛人数同比增长约150%，与2014年首届大赛举办相比，已经实现了10倍的增长。

过去几年，芝商所持续关注亚洲，我们与中国的联系也愈加紧密，大家对衍生品市场的了解以及衍生品交易的需求都有很大提升。

随着时间推移，人们对衍生品交易的认识和对冲的需求不断增强，这除了我们在中国努力发展投教工作，也得益于中国目前国际化和全球化的发展，以及中国经济崛起为全球经济强国。
